DoomHunter.A is a worm that spreads via Internet. It searches for computers affected by the worms Mydoom.A and Mydoom.B, installs itself in them and attempts to delete the processes and files belonging to Mydoom.A, Mydoom.B, Blaster, Doomjuice.A and Doomjuice.B.
DoomHunter.A listens to the port 3127, which is used by the backdoor component of Mydoom.A and Mydoom.B. If it finds any activity, DoomHunter.A sends a copy of itself to the remote computer that is attempting to gain access through this port.>>
DoomHunter.A is difficult to recognize, as it does not show any messages or warnings that indicate it has reached the computer.
