Randex.BF is a worm with Trojan characteristics that spreads across networks. It generates IP addresses at random and attempts to connect to them, using passwords that are typical or easy to guess. If successful, it copies itself in the computers it has gained access to.
Randex.BF joins the channel #goep in the IRC server opqleure.qopmafia.net in order to receive remote control commands, such as scan and obtain information of the affected computer.
Randex.BF is difficult to recognize, as it does not show any messages or warnings that may indicate that it has reached the computer.
