AnalogX-Proxy.A poses a security risk to the computer where it is present. Though these programs are legal and useful tools when they are appropriately used, a hacker could take advantage of them in order to carry out malicious actions.
AnalogX-Proxy.A works as a proxy server. It allows to transact the connection requests of all the computers connected to a local network through a central computer that runs this application.
For example, a computer with a connection to the Internet that run this application would allow to connect to the Internet to any of the computers that belonged to the same network and had this proxy server properly configured.
Once it is run, AnalogX-Proxy.A goes memory resident, and its icon appears in the Taskbar, next to the system clock.
AnalogX-Proxy.A is not a risk by itself, but it is used by several Trojans with malicious intentions.
AnalogX-Proxy.A is difficult to recognize, as it does not show any messages or warnings that indicate it has reached the computer.
