Vix.A is a virus with worm characteristics that infects PE files and spreads through the peer-to-peer (P2P) file sharing programs KaZaA, iMesh and Shareaza.
Due to programming errors, once a file is infected by Vix.A, it cannot be disinfected, thus remaining unusable.
Vix.A is difficult to recognize, as it does not show any messages or warnings that indicate it has reached the computer.
