Randex.P is a worm that spreads across networks. Randex.P generates IP addresses at random and attempts to connect to them, using passwords that are typical or easy to guess. If successful, it copies itself in the computers it has gained access to.
Randex.P joins an IRC channel and allows an attacking user to carry out the following actions, among others: obtain information on the affected computer, run IRC commands, download files, run programs, end processes, obtain product keys, etc.
Randex.P is difficult to recognize, as it does not show any messages or warnings that may indicate that it has reached the computer.
