Netshagg is a spyware program, which is usually included in applications that can be downloaded from the Internet. Netshagg downloads from the Internet a file that contains several spyware programs. Then, it displays an end user license agreement, and if the user accepts it, the spyware programs are installed on the affected computer. Some of these programs are: Exact, Exact Search Bar, Bargain Buddy, Webhancer, Purity Scan, Ebates Money Maker, etc. In addition, Netshagg checks for an Internet connection and if it is available, it opens the port 1211 in order to receive information from the website www.netshagg.com. |
