Klexe is a worm that has dangerous effects, as it drops a Trojan that captures confidential information from the affected computer and sends it to the following e-mail address: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Klexe is a mass-mailing worm, which sends out a message that includes a link that passes itself off as a link for downloading an e-messenger card.
When the user accesses the link included in the message, a compressed file containing two files is downloaded to the computer.
One of these files contains the virus code and the other is used to send the message to all the contacts in the Address Book in Outlook.
A clear indication that Klexe has reached a computer is an e-mail message with the following characteristics:
