Redisto.B is a worm that, after infecting a computer, ends active processes in the affected computer. By doing this, some antivirus and firewall applications, among others, installed on the affected computer will stop working.
It also saves confidential information belonging to the user of the affected computer and then sends it out via e-mail.
Redisto.B spreads rapidly via e-mail and P2P (peer-to-peer) file sharing programs.
Redisto.B is difficult to recognize, as it does not display any warnings or messages that indicate that it has reached a computer.
