Aphex is a worm that not only spreads via e-mail, but can also spread to other machines through IRC chat channels.
Aphex sends a message to IRC users, through port 8180, inviting them to connect to a web page with pornographic content. This web page tricks the user into downloading the worm.
Aphex creates copies of itself and sends them out to every contact in the infected computer's Address Book.
