Institon is a backdoor type Trojan whose main objective is to connect to a server in order to allow a hacker to gain access to and steal (or modify) files on the affected computer, particularly the files in the Windows directory.
It is easy to be infected by Institon as it reaches computers through many different means: e-mail messages with infected attachments, computer networks, CD-ROMs, Internet downloads, FTP, floppy disks, etc.
