Kokodoor.10.A is a backdoor type Trojan. Its main objective is to send information from the affected computer to the virus writer. To do this, it uses following e-mail address: firstname.lastname@example.org.
When it is run, the Trojan runs the original MSN Messenger program, if it is installed, in order to hide its activity.
It is very easy to become infected by Kokodoor.10.A, as it can reach computers through any of the means normally used by viruses: CD-ROMs, e-mail messages with infected attachments, Internet downloads, FTP, etc.
Users of the MSN Messenger can easily recognize Kokodoor.10.A, as it runs this program automatically.
