Julso.A is a macro virus that displays the Word assistant with an unusual message, ten minutes after being run.
Julso.A, like most common viruses, reaches computers in an infected Word 97 document (a file with a DOC extension). Then it infects the Word template (NORMAL.DOT file) and quickly spreads to all the Word documents based on this template.
Ten minutes after the virus is run, it displays the Office assistant with the following message:
If the user selects the first option, the virus closes all of the currently open documents saving the latest changes made to them. However, if the user select the fourth option, Julso.A opens a new Excel book. The second and third options have no functions assigned to them.
