Dialer.AT is not classed as a virus, worm or Trojan. To be more precise, it is a code written in the HTML language, whose aim is to allow a user to gain unauthorized access to the affected computer.
Dialer.AT tries to pass itself off as a program that the user must download in order to access erotic content.
Once it is run, Dialer.AT shows the following visible symptoms:
It displays a message asking the user for confirmation to download the program.
It displays an icon on the Taskbar, by the system clock. If you right-click this icon, an option is displayed to uninstall the program. Once you select it, Dialer.AT will apparently uninstall, but the corresponding task will stay in memory. Furthermore, the Registry entry Dialer.AT created will not be removed, which will cause to be run whenever Windows is restarted.
