Rodok.A is a worm that spreads via the instant messaging application MSN Messenger. To do this, it sends a message to other users connected to this application.
This message tries to entice users to download a program by clicking on the link it includes. However, once they click on the link, the worm is downloaded.
Rodok.A is easy to recognize, as it reaches systems through MSN Messenger, along with the following text:
Hey!! Could you please check out this program for me? :) I made it myself and want people to test it. Its a readme with the program that explains what it does! http:// (-dirección Web-) / BR2002.exe <-- There you can download it! give me advices on what to upgrade please!!
Once the worm is run, it displays a window trying to pass itself off as an application serial number generator.
