Macroble is a macro virus that reaches computers in an infected Word document with DOC extension. From there, it infects the global template (NORMAL.DOT file), infecting every Word documented created with it.
Macroble does not have any damaging effects, as its only aims are to spread and modify certain properties of the Word documents it infects.
The main indication that Macroble has infected a computer is that it modifies the document in use whenever the date on the system clock is the 15th of any month. However, if the language of Word is different to the language in which the virus is written, it does not modify the content of the original document.
