Wreg is a resident type Trojan whose main objective is to connect to certain web pages without the user realizing.
It is easy to be infected by Wreg as it reaches computers through many different means: e-mail messages with infected attachments, computer networks, CD-ROMs, Internet downloads, FTP, floppy disks and particularly through the mIRC chat program.
Wreg is difficult to identify, as it does not display any messages or warnings that indicate that it has reached a computer.
