TMC is a polymorphic virus that goes memory resident in order to infect MS-DOS executable files with an EXE or COM extension. In addition, TMC is an encrypted virus.
It is very easy to become infected by TMC, as it uses many different means to spread: e-mail messages with infected attachments, computer networks, CD-ROMs, Internet downloads, FTP, floppy disks, etc.
TMC is difficult to recognize, as it does not display any warnings or messages that indicate that it has reached a computer.
