Klez@mm is a worm that reaches computers in a file attached to an e-mail message with a variable subject.
It is very easy to become infected by Klez@mm, as it is automatically activated when the message carrying this worm is viewed through Outlook’s Preview Pane.
Klez@mm is dangerous because:
- It automatically and rapidly spreads to all the contacts in Outlook’s Address Book.
- It prevents the user from using the Windows Start button and the correct functioning of some programs.
Klez@mm is difficult to recognize, as it is hidden in e-mail messages with variable characteristics.
