Divi.F is a macro virus that infects Excel spreadsheets (files with an XLS extension).
It is easy to become infected with Divi.F, because it can use any means of transmission to reach other systems. For instance, previously infected Excel spreadsheets.
This is not a dangerous virus, as its only objective is to modify the properties of infected spreadsheets.
It is not easy to recognize the presence of Divi.F. The only visible action carried out by Divi.F consists of modifying the properties of infected spreadsheets (File / Properties), by adding the following text in hexadecimal format: IVID.
