Melissa.M is a macro virus that sends out a file containing confidential user information via e-mail. It shares the C: drive in order to gain remote access to it.
In addition, it infects Word documents as well as the NORMAL.DOT template that this application uses.
Melissa.M is very difficult to recognize, as it does not display any messages or warnings that indicate that it has infected a computer.
