Fbound.A is a worm that does not have any destructive effects, which is easy to recognize, as it spreads via e-mail in a message that always includes the same attached file: PATCH.EXE. This message does not contain any text.
Fbound.A does not create any files on the infected computer. Its aim is to infect as many computers as possible. In order to do this, it sends itself out to all the contacts in Outlook’s Address Book.
If Outlook is not installed on the affected computer or if the Address Book does not contain any contacts, Fbound.A does not carry out any actions.
Fbound.A is easy to recognize, as it spreads via e-mail in a message that does not contain any message text but always includes the same attached file: PATCH.EXE.
