Eira.A is a worm that spreads through e-mail in a message with a variable subject, which tries to trick the user into opening the attached file.
The effects of Eira.A are considered dangerous because when the file attached to the message is run, it will overwrite files with the following extensions: XLS, MDB, EXE, TXT, DOC, OCX, HTM and HTML.
A clear indication that Eira.A has reached your computer is a message with one of the follwing subjects:
Something very special
I know you will like this
Yes, something I can share with you
Wait till you see this!
A brand new game! I hope you enjoy it

When the file attached to the message is run, Eira.A will display the following window:
Eira.A uses this screen to try to pass itself off as a video game.
By clicking on Next, Eira.A will not run its code, but if you click on Cancel, Eira.A will activate its payload and send out e-mails from the affected computer.
