Vote.B is a worm with destructive effects that formats the C: drive, this is, it deletes all the files.
Additionally, Vote.B overwrites all the files with an HTM and HTML extension.
This worm changes the home page of the browser Internet Explorer to a web page from which a password stealer type Trojan detected as Trj/PSW.Barrio.50 is downloaded. By doing so, when the user runs Internet Explorer, this Trojan will be automatically downloaded.
Vote.B spreads via email, in a message with the subject Fwd: This War Must Be Done ! and an attached file called ANTI_TERRORISM.EXE.
Vote.B displays the following messages on screen:
If the user clicks on the OK button in this window, the worm shuts down the computer.
