Thus.Q is a macro virus that reaches computers in an infected Word document, with a DOC extension. From there, it will infect the global template (NORMAL.DOT file), thereby infecting every Word file that is generated with it.
Once it has infected a computer, Thus.Q carries out its most damaging action: it deletes the files from the hard drive C:when the system date is December 13.
Thus.Q is very difficult to recognize, as it does not display any messages or warnings that indicate that it has infected a computer.
