HLLC is a companion virus that infects MS-DOS executable files with an EXE extension. This virus renames these files and changes the EXE extension to EYE.
It is very easy to get infected by HLLC, as it spreads through any of the means normally used by viruses: floppy disks, CD-ROMs, e-mail messages with infected attachments, Internet downloads, FTP, etc.
HLLC is difficult to recognize, as it does not display any warnings or messages that indicate that it has reached a computer.
