Loveletter.C is a worm that arrives in a message that aims to trick users into thinking they have received a love letter. Whenever Loveletter.C affects a computer, it automatically sends itself out to all the contacts in the Address Book.
In addition, Loveletter.C deletes the content of files with VBS, VBE, JS, JSE, CSS, WSH, SCT, HTA, JPG, JPEG, MP3 and MP2 extensions.
Loveletter.C steals confidential information from the affected computer and sends it to its author. This could have particularly serious consequences for corporate networks.
Loveletter.C spreads via e-mail in a message with the attached file VERY FUNNY.VBS and by sending an e-mail message through IRC with the attached file VERY FUNNY.HTM.
