Class.I is a macro virus that infects Word 97 and 2000 documents. The actions carried out by this virus include setting the application's security at the minimum level.
Class.I infects the Word 97 and 2000 global template (NORMAL.DOT file) and from this template, it infects all the Word documents used on the affected computer, which are based on this template.
The only indication that Class.I has infected a computer is a warning message displayed on screen every time an infected document is opened in computers that have the macro antivirus protection in Word enabled.
