Ded.A is a macro virus that reaches computers in an infected Word document, file with a DOC extension. From there it infects the global template (NORMAL.DOT file), spreading its infection to all the Word documents created with it.
The effects of Ded.A are not considered dangerous as it only prevents users from disabling the macros in documents when opening them.
Ded.A does not give any indication that it has infected a computer.
