Adware/SafetyCenter is an adware program that attempts to deceive users passing itself off as a multi-tool designed o protect the computer. It is an unregistered version that warns users of false threats detected in their computer.
Whenever users attempt to remove any of these threats or use any of its functions, they are required to purchase the full version of the program.
Adware/SafetyCenter can reach the computer when the user accesses certain websites which display banners or pop-up windows which lead to the download of this program. It can also reach the computer in a link that can be received via spam messages, fraudulent websites, etc.
