Autorun.IYQ is a worm which carries out many modifications in the Windows Registry, which have the following consequences, among others:
- It prevents the computer from being started in safe mode.
- It does not allow to write on the removable devices. Therefore, files cannot be copied to the device.
- It prevents many files from being run, which belong to different security programs.
- It disables several services, which are part of the Windows Security Center.
Autorun.IYQ spreads through shared, mapped and removable drives, making copies of itself in them.
Autorun.IYQ is difficult to recognize, as it does not display any messages or warnings that indicate it has reached the computer.
