Autorun.INJ is a worm designed to modify the Windows Registry in order to disable the following items, among others:
- the Add/Remove Programs feature of the Control Panel.
- Folder Options of the Windows Explorer, which prevents the access to the configuration menu of the folders.
- Run from the Start menu. This option allows the user to run files in a fast and straight way.
Autorun.INJ spreads through the system drives, both shared and removable. making copies of itself in them.
