Gimmiv.A is a Trojan which exploits a vulnerability in the Windows Server Service which allows remote code execution. It is the vulnerability MS08-067.
Gimmiv.A is designed to steal all type of information from the affected user and computer, such as the MSN and Outlook credentials, username and computer name, information of the browser, among others.
Gimmiv.A does not spread automatically using its own means. It needs an attacking user's intervention in order to reach the affected computer.
