BatGen.D is a virus constructor type malware. To be more precise, BatGen.D allows to create any type of malware with different functions.
When it is run, several screens are displayed. In one of them, the name of the file to be created is required. Once created, it is saved in the root directory of the C: drive with the assigned name and with BAT extension.
Then, a screen is displayed where the functions of the malware can be selected. Among them, we can find the following: spread via P2P programs, delete and/or download files, restart or log off the computer, etc.
BatGen.D does not spread automatically using its own means. It needs an attacking user's intervention in order to reach the affected computer.
