Fractalove.A is a worm which controls the information entered by the user in different instant messaging programs, such as MSN Messenger, browsers such as Internet Explorer, email services such as Outlook, among others. This way, it could obtain passwords and other information about the user.
From time to time, it connects to a certain server to which it uploads the gathered data.
Fractalove.A spreads via email.
Fractalove.A is easy to recognize, as it reaches the computer in an email message which contains a file called TO_MY_LOVE.EXE, passing itself off as a screensaver which displays several fractals. The following image belongs to one of them:
