MDMA is a macro virus that infects Word documents. It carries out several destructive actions that vary depending on the operating system installed on the infected computer. In computers with Windows XP/2000 Pro/NT installed, the virus eliminates the files in the root directory of the hard disk (C:drive).
MDMA infects documents when an infected document is opened or when the NORMAL.DOT template is used.
In computers with the operating system Windows Me/98/95 installed, MDMA displays a window that indicates that it has infected the computer.
