Rebooter.B is a Trojan whose only effect is that it warm boots the computer, as if the user had pressed the Reset button.
This action, which is not destructive, can be dangerous because:
- If it is carried out on many occasions, it may damage the computer.
- If the computer is restarted while the user is working with the computer, any data that has not been saved will be lost.
This virus can reach the computer through the means normally used by viruses: floppy disks, CD-ROM, computer networks, Internet downloads, FTP, etc.
It is important to point out that Rebooter.B does not infect computers with a Windows operating system installed.
If the computer restarts for no apparent reason, Rebooter.B may have infected the computer.
