Pahooka.A is a worm that prevents several security programs from being run, leaving the computer vulnerable against possible threats. Additionally, it disables the following functions, among others: - Find and Run from the Start menu. - Task Manager. - Windows Registry Editor. On the other hand, it connects to a website in order to download malware and it hides the file extensions, in order to go unnoticed. Pahooka.A spreads via mapped drives. |
