Delwin is a multipartite virus that infects the hard disk drives MBR (Master Boot Record) and executable files (files with an EXE extension).
Delwin increases the size of the files it infects, and modifies their date. It prevents Windows programs from working properly.
Delwin uses stealth techniques in order to impede its detection by antivirus programs.
Delwin is difficult to recognize, as it does not show any messages or warnings that may indicate the user that it has reached the computer.
