Diablo is a boot virus that infects the boot sector of hard drives (MBR or Mater Boot Record) and of floppy disks (Boot).
When Diablo has carried out its infection, it goes memory resident and infects all the floppy disks used on the computer.
Diablo is considered a very low threat, as it does not have any destructive effects. When an infected floppy disk is used on a computer, it is infected by the virus.
Diablo is difficult to identify as it does not display any messages or warnings that indicate that it has infected a computer.
