Semsy.B is a Trojan that distributes via MSN Messenger a banker type Trojan. This Trojan is usually a variant of Banbra, but it could belong to other family of this type. This way, the computer becomes an entry point of malware.
It also harvests the access passwords belonging to Orkut users, which is an online social network, and sends them via email to its author.
Semsy.B does not spread automatically using its own means. It needs an attacking user's intervention in order to reach the affected computer. The means of transmission used include, among others, floppy disks, CD-ROMs, email messages with attached files, Internet downloads, FTP, IRC channels, peer-to-peer (P2P) file sharing networks, etc.
Semsy.B is easy to recognize, as when it is run, the website http://www.orkut.com is opened.
