Biwili.A is a virus that infects both Windows computers and systems that have Linux installed.
- It infects executable files with PE (Portable Executable) format that are located in the same directory where it is run, by adding its code to the last section of the file.
- It infects executable files with ELF (Executable and Linking Format) format that are located in the same directory where it is run, by adding its code after the file header.
Biwili.A does not have any destructive effects. It is a proof of concept, programmed in order to demonstrate that it is possible to create a virus that affects both Windows and Linux computers.
Biwili.A is difficult to recognize, as it does not display any messages or warnings that indicate it has reached the computer.
