ComWar.M is a worm that only affects cellular phones that use the operating system Symbian 60 series.
It uses MMS messages in order to spread to other devices. MMS (Multimedia Message Service) is a method of transmitting multimedia files, such as graphics, text messages, video clips, etc. over wireless networks, using the WAP protocol. Additionally, ComWar.M also spreads to other Bluetooth devices.
Keep in mind that ComWar.M needs the user intervention in order to be run on the cellphone. Before the malicious file is installed, the user receives a security warning.
ComWar.M is difficult to recognize, as it does not display any messages or warnings that indicate it has reached the cellphone.
