File Shredder

When you delete a file on a Windows system you don’t eliminate it permanently. Even after you have emptied the Recycle Bin it is still possible to retrieve the deleted files using specific software for this purpose.

Now, thanks to the File Shredder feature, you will be able to completely remove files, preventing others from being able to retrieve them later.

Install the tool and follow the on-screen instructions to use it.

To access this feature, follow these steps:

  1. Click File Shredder in the main window of the program.

  2. Then, click Install Data Shredder.

  3. The first time that you access the File Shredder, the text Preparing first execution will be displayed for a few seconds. This will only happen the first time you access it.

  1. When this is complete, right-click the file or folder that you want to delete permanently, and select Password Depot > File Shredder.
