How to enable/configure the anti-spam protection

 

Follow these instructions to enable or disable the anti-spam filter (which protects you against junk mail) from the window:

  1. Click Anti-spam in the main window of the program.

  2. Make sure that the Anti-spam option on the left of the window is enabled.

  3. To enable the anti-spam protection, set the control to the ON position. To disable it, set it to OFF.

nota_shg.gif Note: You can also access the anti-spam protection settings by clicking the button in the top right-hand corner of the Outlook and Outlook Express windows.

 

It is important to configure this protection correctly, as it lets you specify trusted domains and email addresses, ensuring that messages from these domains or addresses are not classified as spam. These addresses or domains are stored in the List of trusted senders.

 

This window also lets you add senders of messages classified as Not spam to the List of trusted senders.

 

Adding email addresses or domains to the list of trusted senders:

Follow the steps below to add email addresses or domains to the list of trusted senders:

  1. Enter the email address or domain in the New address or domain box (e.g. example.com).

  2. Click Add to include the email address or domain (e.g. example.com) in the list. If you want to remove an address or domain from the list, select it and click Delete.
