The program settings let you specify the types of malicious software that the automatic protection will detect. This is useful if you specifically want the program not to detect a type of threat. Follow these steps to do so:
Click Antivirus in the main window.
On the left-hand side of the window, make sure the Known viruses option is selected.
In the Threats to detect and exclude section at the bottom of the window, click Settings.
In the Threats tab, there is a window indicating the types of threats that will be detected by the automatic protection of . All the checkboxes are selected by default. If you do not want the program to detect one of these types of threats, clear the relevant checkbox.
Click OK.
To ensure the highest level of protection, we advise that you keep all the options selected.
