Enabling script blocking

Jscript and VBScript files have multiple applications, but normally they are used to offer dynamic characteristics to Web pages (user interactivity, interactive controls, etc.).

If you block scripts, you can prevent files written in Script (VBScript or JScript) from running, provided they represent a risk to the security of your computer.

Follow these steps to enable this protection:

  1. Click Antivirus in the main window of the program.

  2. Click Unknown viruses on the left of the window.

  3. Make sure that the option Enable protection against unknown threats is enabled.

  4. Select the Block the execution of Script files checkbox.
