When detects an attachment with potentially dangerous characteristics, it sends it to quarantine to guarantee the security of your computer.
To enable this option, follow these steps:
Click Antivirus in the main window of the program.
Click Unknown viruses on the left of the window.
Make sure that the option Enable protection against unknown threats is enabled.
Select the Move potentially dangerous attachments to quarantine checkbox.
If you want to specify the types of files that are considered suspicious, click Settings and select the options you want: Files with incorrect MIME type, Files with double extensions, or Files with the following extensions.
If you want certain types of files not be considered as suspicious, you can remove the extension from the list of scannable extensions. To do this, enable the option Files with the following extensions and click on Extensions. In the window that appears you can remove extensions and add new ones.
Note: There are certain extensions that you cannot remove from the list.
In Quarantine you can see the attachments that have been blocked. From there you can select the action you want: restore the file to its original location once disinfected, eliminate it, send it to our experts, etc.
