Panda GateDefender Performa eSeries offers different integrated protection models to provide all-in-one preventive security:

Powerful firewall with two types of filtering:

static filtering at network level with data flow rules by port, source IP address, target IP address, etc.
dynamic filtering at application level, identifying common protocols such as HTTP, HTTPs, POP3, SMTP, IMAP and others typically associated with non-productive activity such as P2P, VoIP, IM, Spotify etc.

Intrusion Prevention System (IPS)

Scanning of IP, ICMP, TCP and UDP to counter any unauthorized access to the network.
Rule updates every hour to guarantee maximum protection and the quickest response to new known attacks

Protection of VPN communications

The VPN server allows host to host, net to host, and net to net tunnels to be created under the most widely used protocols (SSL, IPSec, PPTP and L2TP), to connect remote offices securely and to offer connectivity to roadwarriors.

Antimalware filter

Detection and blocking of threats before they reach the corporate network: viruses, worms, Trojans, spyware, dialers, jokes, phishing, hacking tools, security risks and -through its heuristic engine- threats not yet cataloged.
Rule updates every hour to guarantee maximum protection and the quickest response to new malware. Other frequencies can be set to balance protection and bandwidth usage.

Anti-spam protection

Panda GateDefender Performa eSeries checks corporate email, reducing the impact of spam on the productivity of the user. Every message is classified as Spam, Probable spam or Not spam. The intensity of the scan can be configured to prevent false positives. It is also possible to configure sender white lists and blacklists.
Access to the cloud to instantly detect new spam.

Web filter

Access to web pages with non-productive content is restricted simply by selecting prohibited categories. Optimized resource usage and improved user productivity.
GateDefender Performa eSeries also allows white lists and blacklists of websites, regardless of category, and defining of VIP users who will be exempt from web filtering.
Hourly updates to web page catalog.
