Possible problems in the communication with the server.
Verify access to the following list of URLs is allowed: Which URLs are necessary for Endpoint Protection to work correctly?
Additionally, an easy way to test if the agent is communicating correctly with the server is:
- In the computer with problems, access the folder %ProgramFiles%\Panda Security\WaAgent\WalTest.
- Delete or rename the files WALTEST.DAT, WALTESTDF.DAT and WALTESTLT.DAT
- Open a DOS window and run the following:
cd %ProgramFiles%\Panda Security\WaAgent\WasLpMng
WAPLPMNG waltest –force
- Check that the files WALTEST.DAT, WALTESTDF.DAT and WALTESTLT.DAT have been created again.
- If so, communication is working fine, and we can rule out this problem as the cause of the error.
