Panda Security Names Jack Hao Head of U.S. Marketing

- Former Fry's Executive Joins Company to Drive Customer-Centric Marketing Initiatives and Build Brand Awareness

Panda Security, a leading provider of IT security solutions, today announced that Jack Hao, former head of Fry's Electronics' Antivirus Division, has joined the company as head of Marketing for Panda Security USA. In this role, he is responsible for leading all marketing efforts and increasing market share of the company's innovative IT security solutions for consumers and small and medium-sized businesses. Hao will use his retail product marketing, business strategy and operational expertise to drive revenue and increase profits for Panda Security, particularly with its consumer solutions. In addition, his experience creating and managing innovative customer-centric programs will help Panda build upon its loyal following of customer advocates in the U.S.

Hao's dedication to the customer comes from his prior work experience at Fry's Electronics, Inc., a leading retailer of consumer electronics, appliances and computers. At Fry's, he was in charge of purchasing and marketing the entire productivity software category, including Internet security products and sysitem utilities, and witnessed first-hand how crucial superior customer support is for vendors to retain customers. He worked closely with every major security player in the industry to increase product visibility and sales, and customize security solution offerings to best suit the Fry's consumer. During his tenure there, he increased overall profitability by 20 percent and led Web sales at Frys.com to 140 percent year-over-year growth.
